Vendor FAQs

How many people attend the festival?

Over 5,000 people attended the festival in 2017. We are planning for a bigger, better festival each year. In addition to tour buses from out of state that travel specifically to the festival, Downtown Annapolis draws much tourism in general as a scenic, waterfront Maryland destination. The festival is also an annual tradition for many Annapolitans.

Where will vendors be stationed in relation to the main stage & entrance?

Proximity to the main stage and entrance can depend on electricity needs and turning in applications early (first come, first serve).

What are the setup and breakdown procedures?

Vendors are expected to have spaces setup no later than 9:30am on the morning of the festival. For GPS purposes, you can use 110 Dock Street, Annapolis, MD 21401 to get to Susan Campbell at the Annapolis City Dock. Site setup can commence as early as 6:30am. Site breakdown should start at 7:00pm. Each vendor is expected to set up their site, keep the site clean, and break down their site appropriately and within a reasonable amount of time.

When you arrive, you may be greeted by festival staff at the Welcome Station. Let them know who you are and you will be shown where to drop off your items and where you can park. If you arrive and there are no more parking spaces near the festival grounds, you can drop-off your things and park in the Calvert Street Garage located at 19 St. John's Street, which is ~5-minute drive away and free all day.

Vehicles must be removed from the festival grounds no later than 9:30am. No vehicles will be allowed on the festival grounds after 9:30am. There will be a golf cart available to transport your things from the entrance to your vendor space.
